MIA, part II

And again, more then a week goes by without a new post. Liz is finally back to her normal working schedule, so that's no excuse anymore. We just need to get back into the blogging groove. We'll do our best!!!

The big news in the neighborhood is the remolding of our local grocery store. Instead of the C1000, we now have another Albert Heijn. Of course, that also means a new riding toy for Evie to enjoy.

Missing in Action

Well, it's been quite a while since eight days have gone buy between posts. Sorry to our faithful followers. We've been pretty busy this month, mostly with working overtime. We just don't have much material to post about! The last few weeks Evie has spent more time with Opa & Oma in Zoetermeer. This first week the weather was still summer-like. Evie got to play with Brent.

Alise & Evie

Today Alise and her family came over to play. The girls walked the whole length of the street hand in hand.

Welcome, Baby Matti!

Last Monday, Annabelle and Brian welcomed a son, Matti. We went on "kraamvisite" (new baby visit) yesterday. He is adorable!!! Evie was very sweet with him.


In further news, Evie went to Blijdorp, the zoo in Rotterdam, with her creche last Friday. Here she was ready for her first school trip! (no pictures from the zoo yet)

Air Guitar Nation

We recently watched a documentary entitled "Air Guitar Nation" all about the sport of air guitar. Sport?!? yes, the sport of air guitar, including the International Championships in Finland. It was funny, funny, funny!!! However, as a side effect we have been playing the air guitar a little more often since seeing the film. As documented in the following pictures:
