Evie's favorite toy outside at the creche is this little car. And it suits her so well. She enjoys it so much she never wants to help put it away.

Deze Puist op Deze Puist
Here is Evie singing a Dutch song called "Deze Vuist" which translates to "This fist atop this fist, this fist atop this fist, this fist atop this fist, and that's how I climb up." But Evie turns the V into a P making it a song about zits on top of zits. Too funny!

Smart Girl!!!
Recently Evie had to do a project at the creche making a clown face out of cutouts of a mouth, nose, two eyes, a hat, and a flower. Below is a picture of part of the wall displaying the finished product. Look at how nearly-perfect Evie's clown is!!! For a reference I put the ages of the children who completed the other clowns in the picture. Clearly, Evie is very advanced for her age, and/or she takes direction well.

Sprookjes Bos
Last weekend (yes... it's taken me way too long to update... again) we went to Assen to visit Oma Els and Opa Erno. On Sunday we made a trip to the Sprookjes Bos, or the Fairy Tale Forrest.
Evie got to ride in a car
And play on the playground
And see some of her favorite nursery rhymes in real life!!! Roughly translated this nursery rhyme is:
Berend Botje went out rowing
in his boat to Zuidlaren
The way was straight,
the way was crooked
And he never came back
One, two, three, four,
Five, Six Seven
Where is Berend Botje?
He is not here, He is not there
He has gone to America!
I saw two bears smearing bread
Oooo, it was a miracle
'Twas a miracle, what a miracle
That those bears could smear their bread
Heeheehee, Hahaha, I stood there and I watched
And Evie sang along in her prettiest voice!
Our sassy girl coloring in her book.
Mama made a pretty picture, too. And she stayed in the lines!

Dolphin Kids
Last week we went to visit Lucas' creche where there is a really cool indoor playground.
Evie loved the maze-like structure, but was wary of some of the less stable parts.
The ball pit was of course a success.
Lucas is still a little small for the ball pit, but enjoys it nonetheless.
Before leaving, Evie got a balloon and a sticker!
