Felix leaves the creche

Pretty soon Felix will have his last day at the creche because he will be starting school on his birthday!  As a farewell, he is giving out these really cool lollipops.

Baby Blues

Benjamin has the sweetest blue eyes, and it looks like they are here to stay!

Fitted Diapers

Benjamin has some new diapers.  They are called fitted diapers from the brand Lollipop.  These ones require a cover, just like flats and prefolds.  For now he has just the white cover, but Grandma Nan will be bringing some more colorful ones with her when she comes later this month.

All the kids in the bakfiets

Today Tom took all three of the kids in the bakfiets for the first time.  We have a rack where the carseat can click into for a little bit of extra safety.  To be honest, he didn't really care or notice where he was.  But the kids thought it was cool, even if they did have less leg space.

B-Boy

We have a few nicknames for our youngest child.  In text messages we often shorten it to B, but when we are talking we sometimes call hi the B-Boy.  He's that cool.

Bath pillow

Another great piece of baby gear that we never had before Benjamin is this bath pillow.  He can float comfortably in the tub without a care in the world.  It works really well in the big tub with Mama or Papa, too.  Too bad he's almost too big for it now.

So snazzy!

Benjamin is looking so snazzy in his little tuxedo shirt.  What's the big occasion? There is none; This is just how he rolls.

Green for Cerebral Palsy

Today is cerebral palsy awareness day.  Another mom asked if our babies could all wear green diapers today.  Benjamin only has two, but he joined in anyway!  This will surely be the last time he wears the newborn alva diaper.

Papa Kisses

There's not much better than morning kisses and cuddles with Papa!

Open Day Koorenhuis

Today was an open house at the Koorenhuis where Evie has her music class.  She brought Mirre along, and the two of them got to try out a whole bunch of different instruments!

Cool baby!

Benjamin has another fantastic onesie here!  This one was a gift from Tom's Aunt Trudi.

Highchair

Just like his sister and brother before him, Benjamin has his own Stokke Tripp Trapp chair.  But this time we have a infant seat for it. He can sit in it like this until he is able to sit up on his own in the regular seat.  It's so nice having him at the table with us when we eat instead of in the box or on the floor in his bouncy seat.

Family of 5

Our first family photo as a family of five!  Taken at Opa & Oma's house this last weekend.

6 weeks

Benjamin will be six weeks old on Friday and would like to thank everybody for the abundance of cards, presents, visits, and well wishes!

Boys will be Bears

Today just two photos showing some brotherly love and our little Benjamin Bear.  He is almost too big for the brown bear suit, so I wanted to take a photo of him... he wasn't as interested in posing.

Best onesie ever!

Today Benjamin recieved some mail from Tom's cousin Chrissy.  It is the best onesie ever!  "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" is the text.  For those who don't know, it is a quote from Harry Potter, and therefore AWESOME!

More Smiles

Benjamin is now on a roll with those sweet, sweet smiles!  Every day he smiles more.

Family Portrait

Evie made a beautiful portrait of our family.  From left to right there is Oma Wilma, Opa Bas, Felix, Tom, Evie, Liz holding Benjamin, Uncle Thijs, and Aunty Rachel.  They really do look just like us all!  The best part, though, is the pajama pants Liz is rocking.  After all, that's pretty much all she's been wearing the past month.

First Smile!

He may have slipped a few smiles by in the last week, but today he gave some great smiles to the camera!  Every time the hooks of his little mouth curl up, I melt inside.  So sweet!
