Naturalisation Ceremony
Today Liz became an official Dutch citizen. There was a ceremony at city hall attended by Tom, Bas, Wilma, and Steph, who just got here yesterday. The ceremony started with a half hour concert ending in one of Liz's all-time favorite songs, "Don't Cry for me Argentina." There were about forty others who were gaining Dutch nationality today. The only one wearing orange was Liz. How typical.

Waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Stephanie & Elizabeth!

Accepting the naturalisation papers.

The oath Liz had to say, "This I swear and promise."

Photo-op with the deputy mayor of The Hague.
