World Cup 2010

Last weekend was the start of the 2010 World Cup, known here as the WK. In true Dutch fashion, the country is rapidly turning orange. The excitement was especially high yesterday when the Dutch team played their first game. They ended up winning 2-0 against Denmark. Felix slept through the game, but Evie watched it with Mama. Tom was "at work" and with "at work" I mean at the new beach stadium watching the game on a big screen. After the game we celebrated the victory by eating orange donuts with Ulrike and Carla. Clad in our orange attire, we pulled the orange stroller out of the shed and went for a walk. The Dutch play again Saturday afternoon (morning if you are in America) against Japan.
Evie was sooooo excited to be eating an orange donut with red-white-blue sprinkles! Of course, she gets excited eating any donut.

Felix enjoyed his treat, too.

The weather was nice, so we sat outside and the kids played in the sandbox.

HUP HOLLAND HUP!!!

Felix blowing on his vuvuzela.

The kids loved sitting next to each other!

HUP HOLLAND HUP!!!
